The chart below shows monthly withdrawals dating back to 1964. The water system has expanded over time which has contributed to the increase in withdrawals along with the proliferation of irrigation systems. Some larger expansions include taking over Wylewood Water Works in the late 1980's and the construction of Great Hill in the 1990's. Water use in recent years has declined due to outdoor water conservation measures during the summer months. Winter use has also been lower than in previous decades which can be attributed to conducting annual leak detections, timely repair of known leaks and improvements in home plumbing fixture and appliance efficiency.
