FY2011 Rate Structure:
Fee changes take effect July 1, 2010 and the rate increase takes effect after the first bill in Fiscal Year 2011.
Water Use Rates:
Water use is billed on an increasing block rate structure - the more water that is used the more expensive it gets. This type of rate structure is designed to promote water conservation.

Calculating the amount of your bill is accomplished by working your way through the tiers. For example, if you are a quarterly customer and used 50,000 gallons in three months then you would be charged for 12,000 gallons at $5.40 per thousand, 12,000 gallons at $6.50 per thousand and 26,000 gallons at $9.20 per thousand.
Connection Fees:
Each new connection to the water system is charged a connection fee of $1,000, increased from $800.
Shut-Off Fees for Non-Payment of Water Bills:
If water is turned off for non-payment then the following fees will be charged to turn it back on:
- During normal business hours: $100 (increased from $75)
- Outside normal business hours: $200 (increased from $150)
